About Crystal
My name is Crystal Chau, and I am an ambitious first-generation MBA candidate, committed leader, diligent instructor, and hardworking mentor inspired by nonprofit organizations. I strongly care about social justice, racial equity, and working to improve oneself when in the wrong. I believe in second chances, as well as the ability to change an individual's perspective through time, education, and experience. I am enthusiastic and passionate about giving back and bringing change to diverse communities all over the world.
I am actively pursuing a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Leadership at the McCallum Graduate School of Business. In May 2023, I graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management with a Concentration in Global Management, minoring in Information Design and Corporate Communications (IDCC). I currently work as a Financial Operations and Government Billing Coordinator at Stone House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic abuse. In this role I am able to apply my knowledge and expertise in management and operations in a full time role as I pursue a master’s degree.
Studying leadership is essential in building interpersonal communication skills that will allow me not only to view challenges from a different perspective but also to strategize objectives and manage organizations and teams. I am confident that my university programs will help me become a well-rounded professional in my field of interest and allow me to work in areas that I love.

I am a college graduate and strong tutor with over 5 years experience tutoring English from grades K-10.
I teach students with a unique method that involves strong student engagement through games and consistent practice. I make learning exciting and I make sure to keep students engaged (and awake!) so they get the most they can out of the experience.
I have the most experience tutoring grades K-10, and have the most success working with students that are competitive and learn the best through "doing".
