I take a supportive, student-centred approach to tutoring, focusing on building confidence, strengthening understanding, and helping learners apply community nursing theory to real-world practice. My sessions blend clear explanations, practical examples, and structured guidance, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring topics in depth. I adapt my teaching style to each learner’s needs, whether they prefer visual resources, discussion-based learning, or step-by-step breakdowns of complex concepts.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for assignment support, exam preparation, or skills development. I provide clear learning goals at the start of each session and a short recap at the end so students leave feeling organised and confident about their next steps.
I am a qualified and experienced Community Nurse, bringing real clinical insight into my teaching. My background includes hands-on community practice, multidisciplinary working, and supporting students in placement settings. This allows me to offer practical guidance alongside academic support, helping learners connect theory with the realities of community care.
My lessons are ideal for university nursing students at foundation, undergraduate, or postgraduate level, as well as learners preparing for placements, OSCEs, or community-based assessments.
