About Mark
My career combines practical consultancy with academic work with a number of Scottish and UK business schools. As a consultant I have maintained a successful freelance career by working across a wide range of sectors and with business and organisations of all sizes. This ranges from individual entrepreneurs, small businesses, SMEs and PLCs. I have also worked effectively with public and third sector organisations, helping them achieve the best possible outcomes for service users and stakeholders. I have also contracted to one of the Big Four consultancies for over 14 years, delivering best in class training for participants at entry level to director/partner. As an academic, I have wide-ranging knowledge and practical insights to help bring the learning to life. I believe in getting the fundamentals right first before considering the practical, real-world applications and how they can help each learner get the best out of their work and study.
