About Tomas
I am a 20-year-old student at the University of Manchester. I have been playing the drums for nearly 15 years and have completed my Grade 8 qualification. Over the years, I’ve performed live with several bands and even recorded my own music, gaining valuable experience in collaboration, performance, and musical expression. My passion for teaching began a few years ago when I started helping younger students learn the basics of drumming, and it has grown ever since. I take pride in creating fun, engaging, and structured lessons that help each student progress at their own pace while building confidence and having fun behind the kit.

Each drum lesson is carefully structured to keep students motivated and progressing at their own pace. I’m happy to teach first-time students or more advanced grades after completing all 8 grades myself. This includes anything from how to hold sticks to more complex skills such as improvisation. I make sure every session balances fun with skill-building, so students grow confident behind the kit while truly enjoying the process. I bring experience and passion to help every child reach their musical potential and have fun over anything else.

Tomas is a great drum tutor, he made learning Grade 3 fun and easy to understand. I really enjoyed the lessons and learned a lot. Highly recommend him!
