About Mariama
I’m an experienced Early Years Practitioner with 6 years of experience working with children. I’m passionate about making learning Portuguese fun, engaging and comfortable, while adapting lessons to each child’s needs, interests and confidence. My aim is to help children enjoy learning and feel confident using Portuguese.

My lessons are designed to make learning Portuguese fun, engaging and natural for children. I use a mixture of games, movement, music, stories, conversation and play-based activities to help children build confidence and develop their Portuguese in an enjoyable way.
Each lesson is adapted to the child's age, current level and interests, so I don't follow a one-size-fits-all approach. I first get to know the child and understand what they already know, then plan activities that gradually develop their vocabulary, listening, speaking and confidence in Portuguese.
As an experienced Early Years Practitioner, I understand how important it is for young children to feel comfortable, motivated and involved in their learning. My aim is for children to enjoy using Portuguese while making steady progress.
