About Lili
I currently work in EdTech product development that fosters specifically curiosity and critical thinking skills. My research background is in cognitive development and intrinsic motivation. So, my primary motive as an educator is to develop a lifelong love for learning for my students!

I've worked in supporting writing skills for students ages 10-22.
My teaching centers skill development in both creative and critical reading/writing skills-- including text theme-analysis, essay structure, big-picture ideation, and utilizing conventional writing standards.
My primary goal is to help the student develop a personal relationship to and interest in the task at hand. I utilize backwards-design lesson planning, meaning the end goal is always our starting point. I'm trained in developing lesson plans using all major educational competencies (e.g. HQPBL, Future9, CASEL, etc) to make sure students receive a well-rounded experience in their skill development. Each lesson is tailored personally to the student's needs.
