About Scout
I have a degree in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology and minor in Environmental Science from Harvard University. There, I also took on an interest in education, with graduate level coursework at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. 2 years of experience in Oakland Unified School District and 3 years as an overnight camp counselor.

I believe in the potential of all my students and tutees. I do my best to find their learning style and tailor lessons to their needs. My teaching style is multimodal, influenced by the hands on experience of biological field work as well as teaching in elementary schools.
