About Roxana
I'm and EFL Teacher since 1998 with a Master degree in ICTs. I work in Higher education preparing and training prospective language teachers in Valparaiso-Chile. I've been teaching for 20 years in different levels and now I work as an Instructional Designer and e-Learning consultant.

I use the PPPE instructional sequence: Presentation, Practice, Production and Evaluation. First, for presentation I use videos or audios, then I teach and check some functional, lexical and grammatical features of language presented in the video/audio to enhance comprehension (e.g talking about the main topic, extracting new words, focusing on expressions, grammar focus etc). After this, the student/s must practice (I guide the whole process prompting participation), then I promote the oral and written production (I have my own LMS platform with activities and resources) and finally I assess the student/s performance giving feedback.
Timing for a class is 60 minutes and at the end of it the student must prepare a brief summary of what he/she learnt. Extra homework is included for the next session.
