I have career-changed into tech after years in the education system, but I miss the connection and joy of teaching so I’ve decided to offer a limited amount of lessons in my spare time.

With a background in both teaching and academic support, I have a strong understanding of how to spot gaps in knowledge and help people learn effectively. My background in teaching as well as curriculum development also means I am able to structure lessons and learning experiences with deep knowledge of how people learn balanced with modern learning theories.
Length of a lesson: 20, 30, or 60 mins
We will first complete a free needs analysis (20-30 mins long) by having a conversation about your language goals and learning preferences. I'll then let you know how I think we can proceed, and you can decide if that works for you and you'd like to continue onto paid lessons.
My qualifications are
- Teaching experience of 15+ years - classroom, one on one, small group including business English, academic English (e.g. research, presentations, essay writing, IELTS), general English, and communication skills at all levels (beginner to advanced)
- Child, teenager, and adult lessons
- Lesson planning and curriculum writing experience of 5+ years (planning, structuring and writing out learning material)
