About Star
I have spent SO much time in the world of English. I teach through both fun ways, such as using games, songs, movies, and more, as well as with REAL conversation so that you can get real practice speaking English! This won't be boring classes sitting going over grammar (though I am happy to do that too), this will be something you look forward to coming and doing every week (or hey, maybe every day!) For the technical stuff: - I have a Cambridge CELTA credential - the most highly recognized and respected initial English teaching certification worldwide. - I have spent 2 years teaching English to students of all ages in Thailand - I have LOTS of tutoring experience outside of that - I have a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre & Psychology - so I know how to go from a fun, engaging performance of a lesson to getting deeper, almost therapeutic, like counseling you through life things too!

Hi!!! :) I have been an English as a second language teacher for a long time now, and I'm looking to start my own tutoring & conversation practice service. The details: * Lessons are 45 minutes and are $40 if online or $50 for in person. * First lesson is half-priced, and can be thought of as a trial lesson! So I can understand what you want, and you can see if it's a good fit. * I like to make lessons as fun and engaging as possible, while also creating a safe space so you feel comfortable speaking and practicing English. * I am really good at helping shy students get outside of their comfort zone, so if you are shy we would be a great fit!
