About Eloise
I am an English Teacher with a 2:1 degree in History of Art. I hold the Cambridge English Language Teaching Certificate and I have three years of experience working in state schools in England and Italy. I have taught hundreds of children and adults and helped them to gain English language qualifications.

My teaching methodology is based on current educational research and cognitive science. I use Rosenshine's Principles (daily review, presenting new material using small steps, questioning, providing models, guiding student practice, checking for understanding, obtaining a high success rate, providing scaffolds, independent practice and weekly/monthly reviews) to deliver very carefully planned lessons. I teach students to become confident and competent English scholars and provide frequent opportunities for assessment to ensure progress.
