About Stephen
I am a published author and experienced copywriter. I hold a Premier TEFL certificate in teaching English.
I have taught creative writing at Abingdon and Witney College in Oxfordshire and worked as a singing and drama teacher with Stagecoach Performing Arts Academy. I have also been a piano and guitar teacher for over 30 years.
I am an experienced stage actor and public speaker, where spoken English and communication has to be at its most excellent and compelling.
I draw on all of this experience to ensure that my students receive the very best education from a native speaker of the language.

I have developed a unique method of teaching English using real life scenarios in which English would be used, both in written and spoken form. This provides my students with a practical understanding of English which can be immediately put to use in the real world.
My teaching methods include written and verbal exercises, interactive one-to-one tuition with me via most online videoconferencing platforms.
While I teach both adults and children, I have developed a special way of teaching younger children with the use of puppets, making their learning experience more fun and less challenging than traditional teaching methods can often be to young, developing minds.
Whatever your level of English may be, I guarantee that you will learn to speak and write better English with ease and in a surprisingly short time.

I charge an extra £10 per lesson if a student lives more than 3km from me. So the complete rate for a student living 3km+ from me would be £50 per hour.
