I am an experienced Maths tutor and former IT professional working both as self-employed and for different companies for 7 years. I am currently working part-time as a teacher assistant at a secondary school and part-time as a Maths and Computer Science tutor.

I enthusiastically help my students to improve their understanding of the subject with a friendly, calm and patient approach. I believe anyone can learn given the right help and with time.
I make sure I understand my students’ needs, their strengths and weaknesses. I give them a strong foundation, and teach a concept in different ways to create a good understanding. I share my knowledge with enthusiasm, and help them to overcome their challenges. I will help set goals, track student progress and offer feedback to make sure those goals are met. I help my students to work towards their goals, e.g. achieving good results at GCSE level.
I like working with students as a tutor and seeing the quick progress that they can make in a short period of time. This is possible because that I can see what gaps a student has, help the student to fill these gaps and tailor the lessons to their needs. In a classroom setting the classes are usually too big in order to give a student the help they need to reach their full potential. With tutoring I can help them to reach higher grades.
