About Chris
From amateur theatre to professional shows, I've been singing all my life. My background is musical theatre but I regularly perform jazz now, and am also proficient in classical and contemporary styles. I've been a tutor for eight years, and have helped guide a number of students to successful singing grades during that time. I've also been volunteering with youth groups for much longer. As such, I am experienced at helping to develop the voices particularly of young adults, helping them navigate through their ever-changing voice in a healthy and sustainable way.

I pride myself on my down-to-earth, approachable style and individually-tailored lessons. Singing should be fun above all else, and I hope to instil and nurture that philosophy in all my students, as it is also through this approach that the most progress is made. Everybody has a voice inside them, and helping somebody to discover it is the most rewarding feeling I know. After a thorough warm-up, we explore a few vocal exercises, specifically picked out to aid the student's particular vocal goals, before getting to grips with a full song.
