I teach in English only! It has been shown that this approach works better, as compared to translating words and phrases into the student's native language. This slows things down and is confusing.
One lesson lasts one hour although could be longer with short breaks. I'm open to suggestions.
I have the CELTA certificate (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) which I passed in 2004 and have since had 15 years of experience with students from Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, China, Spain, South America, Asia and Africa. My most recent position was in a language school in Basel (Switzerland).
I teach young and older adults.
