About Liz
Having worked as a teacher since 2015 (initially creative peripatetic i.e. visiting schools to run creative writing clubs, teach singing, guitar and piano, as well as LCM Music Theatre and LAMDA Drama) I then retrained in 2019 to specialise in English (secondary school), and thereby combine my love of the creative arts and the written word all in one go. I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher with a love of learning - so much so that I recently completed my Masters in Children's Literature - for fun!

Hello! I'm Liz, and I'm a secondary/FE GCSE English teacher specialising in the AQA exam board, for which I'm also an examiner. My approach to teaching and tutoring is positive, engaging, and nurturing, with a clear measure for progress through target setting. Currently, I am building my student base and have both evenings/Saturdays available (term time) and also some temporary daytime availability.
