About Olumuyiwa
I am a passionate Maths and Science tutor with a strong academic background in engineering. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and am currently pursuing an M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering. My engineering training has equipped me with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, which I use to help students understand challenging concepts with confidence.
Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy because I believe every student can succeed when lessons are tailored to their individual learning style. I take pride in creating a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. My aim is not just to improve grades but to help students develop a genuine understanding and appreciation of Maths and Science.
I have experience teaching students following the UK curriculum, including KS3 and GCSE Maths and Science. Whether a student needs help preparing for exams, strengthening weak areas, or achieving higher grades, I am committed to helping them reach their full potential through engaging, well-structured online lessons.

Every student has the potential to excel in Maths and Science with the right guidance, encouragement, and teaching approach. My lessons are carefully tailored to each student's learning style, ensuring they build confidence while developing a deep understanding of the subject rather than simply memorising procedures.
I specialise in teaching UK KS3 (Years 7–9) and GCSE (Years 10–11) Maths and Science. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for school assessments, or aiming for top GCSE grades, I create structured lessons that focus on understanding key concepts, mastering exam techniques, and improving problem-solving skills.
As a Chemical Engineering graduate currently pursuing an M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering, I bring strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills into every lesson. I explain complex topics in a simple, engaging way using real-life examples, diagrams, interactive whiteboards, and plenty of worked examples. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and practise independently to strengthen their confidence.
My online lessons typically last one hour and include clear explanations, guided practice, independent questions, and constructive feedback. I also provide homework and revision support where appropriate to help students make steady progress between lessons. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent grades but also to help them enjoy learning and become confident, independent learners.
