About Hannah
Hi I'm Hannah, I am currently a Durham university undergrad! If you are looking for a friendly tutor to build confidence while ensuring those grades go up - I can help! I have a strong academic background balanced with several years of tutoring experience.
I believe in taking a highly individualised approach to target weak spots and build confidence. However, I also understand that exams are all about hitting examiner's checklists so I balance this by breaking down mark schemes and helping students understand exactly where their marks go.
For the last three years, I've volunteered at kids clubs and have tutored on the side as well, so I'm all about keeping tutoring fresh and engaging!

For GCSE Maths, I bring a unique perspective: I self-taught the entire course at home in Year 9, achieving a Grade 9, before going on to study Further Maths A-Level. Having learnt the material independently, I understand first-hand where students get stuck and how to explain concepts in clear, accessible ways. I’ve since built on this with several years of tutoring experience across GCSE and lower levels.
