About Cameron
My name is Cameron Lindsay and I have been playing bass guitar for just over 6 years and electric guitar for 4 years. I love playing instruments (I play at least 2 hours a day) and I want to instill the same love I have of instrumentation into others. I believe there is a hidden beauty to the playing styles of an instrumentalist.
What I hope to do is to get you interested in instrumentation and music. I want to try and make you as enthusiastic as I am so you can experience the joys that I experience when playing and listening to music.

I have a very relaxed and adaptable approach to teaching. I do not want to make my lessons a “lesson” in that sense, but rather an enjoyable experience (in the same way a child enjoys playing video games).
Whilst I am not an expert in music theory, due to my experience in playing with bands and self learning, I have an ability to teach children how to play with their soul as supposed to just reading music. I believe this is fundamental for any musician growing up.
I would start my sessions with some exercises to gain an understanding of the students playing ability. I will then ask my student what type of music they like and get them to learn a few songs they enjoy. This is the best way to turn “practicing the guitar” to “playing the guitar”. As the lessons continue I will adapt my teaching style to suit my students wants and needs.
