About Vivek
I have been a high school mathematics teacher for the last 6 years with the education department of WA. I taught for 2 years in a country town in the southwest before moving back to one of the top public schools in Perth for the last 4 years. I have years of ATAR experience having taught the Methods and Applications courses for year 11 and 12. I have taught a wide range of students across all high school year groups.

I use an evidence-based strategies to harness students' natural curiosity about the world around them and ensure that the mathematical concepts are things they can relate to. By applying their existing skills and knowledge to the study of Mathematics and through critical analysis and higher order thinking, students are able to make progress through understanding the concepts and methodology behind the maths they are required to use rather than just the steps required for an answer.
Lessons are generally 1 hour long.
