About Pragya
Five years ago, I decided to become the kind of teacher I wish I had as a student.
I’ve always been a curious person who asks a lot of questions. While learning different subjects and languages, I often came across teachers who either didn’t have the time to answer my questions or simply expected me to accept things without understanding them. That experience taught me how important it is for students to feel heard and supported.
Today, one of my favorite parts of teaching is answering questions. I genuinely enjoy helping students understand not just what to say, but why things work the way they do. If I don’t know the answer to something, I research it until I find one. I believe learning should be based on curiosity, not memorization.
Having been both a student and a teacher, I understand the challenges of learning a language from both sides. That’s why I create lessons that are patient, personalized, and focused on helping students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.

My lessons are personalized because every student learns differently. Whether you are a complete beginner, an NRI looking to reconnect with Hindi, or someone who wants to improve conversational skills, I adapt my teaching style to your goals and learning pace.
Classes focus on practical Hindi that you can use in real-life situations. Along with conversation practice, we can work on grammar, tenses, vocabulary, pronunciation, and reading skills when needed. I use everyday examples, interactive activities, and visuals to make learning engaging and easy to understand.
I have over 5 years of teaching experience and enjoy creating a friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to help you build confidence and enjoy the process of learning Hindi.
