About Sahara
Hi! I’m Sahara, a Newcastle University undergraduate studying Law, with a strong passion for History and Politics. I have experience teaching students of different ages and abilities, including a rewarding 3-week placement in Cambodia where I taught English to children and teenagers aged 6–18. I enjoy helping students understand complex ideas, develop critical thinking, and gain confidence in their learning. My teaching style is patient, adaptable, and tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring lessons are engaging and effective. I’m committed to supporting students both in lessons and through online help outside of scheduled sessions.

I provide tailored lessons in History and Politics for GCSE, A-Level, or enrichment students. Each session is designed to help students understand key concepts, develop critical thinking, and improve exam techniques. I focus on making lessons engaging, interactive, and relevant, adapting my teaching style to each student’s learning needs. Lessons may include: Breaking down complex historical events or political theories. Developing analytical and essay-writing skills. Practising past papers and exam-style questions. Encouraging discussion and debate to deepen understanding. I am also available for online sessions outside lesson hours to support students whenever they need extra help. My goal is to help students gain confidence, enjoy learning, and achieve their academic potential.
