About George
History enthusiast who studied history both at undergraduate and postgraduate level and is currently applying for a PhD. I specialise in the medieval era but have an interest for all periods of history. My motivation to tutor history stems from my enjoyment of explaining the subject to others. I am an experienced Tutor on Mytutor and Tutorful, having completed over 800 lessons on those platforms and off platform.

My teaching methodology involves talking pupils through their relevant history syllabus step by step. I tend to keep it simple and avoid overcomplicating matters. To help pupils achieve high grades I provide them information that goes beyond the basics in their school textbooks which will impress examiners. Through personally achieving an A* grade in A Level history I know what it takes to get top grades. Regarding experience I have conducted over eight hundred lessons on Mytutor, Tutorful and outside those platforms before joining Superprof.

Honestly 11/10 history tutor, super patient, informative and an overall light-hearted learning experience also reasonable tutoring prices! George always goes the extra mile for his students and I would definitely recommend for whoever needs the extra support.
George has tutored me through my GCSEs and helped me a lot - through his knowledge of the content and how to answer exam Questions.
George is not helping me through my A-Levels and once again is extremely knowledgeable in the content. He has also begun supporting my through my coursework, by helping me with my research.
