Working with Simona through 2019 (and staying in touch over the years), I gained confidence speaking Italian with a native speaker. With her gentle encouragement and guidance, I learned to speak without awkwardness about my interests, my family, my travels and about life in general.
After my retirement from teaching, I wanted to learn foreign languages. I enrolled in Italian classes at a nearby university, but I soon realized that I was missing the most important aspect of language learning: being able to really speak to others in Italian.
