About Elize
I believe that my skill set make me an ideal candidate for teaching Economics online.
I have a BCom Degree from Potchefstroom University, and an Hons Degree in Economics plus additional Banking subjects from the University of Pretoria.
I have eight years of lecturing experience at Esayidi TVED College. During that time, I lectured students from Level 2 (equivalent to ‘O’ Level), to Level 4 (equivalent to ‘A Level’), and some N4 (First year Level), classes. I have always covered a wide range of subjects in the Business Department. Economics (my specialty), Accountancy, Financial Management, Pastel and Entrepreneurship.
During 2017, I also wrote and compiled a curriculum for B Ed students specializing in Economics. As you will note from my CV, which I attach herewith, this covered the whole 4 semesters. The four semesters included Micro Economics, Macro Economics, Public Economics, and International Economics.
I am very professional and diligent when it comes to my work, and get great pleasure passing on my knowledge and seeing my students pass their exams.

I am available to teach a whole syllabus if required, at the speed desired by the student.
I offer both Macro and Micro Economics up to the level of 1st year University.
I am bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
A typical lesson would last up to an hour. Longer than that, and students will not be able to absorb all the information.
I can produce handouts if required detailing the key points that the student should revise for examinations, tests and assessments.
I have 8 years experience, and many of my students had English as a second language, so I am used to explaining difficult concepts to students who do not have English as their first language.
