About Tia
I'm a Canadian Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from Nova Scotia, former college-level Health Care Aide instructor, and experienced travel nurse who has worked in four Canadian provinces.
My teaching experience includes online instruction, classroom teaching, hands-on skills labs, and supervising students during clinical placements.
I understand how challenging nursing and healthcare programs can be, especially when students are balancing demanding coursework, exams, and clinical expectations.
I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts, connect classroom learning to real-world patient care, and build confidence in their abilities.
My approach is patient, encouraging, practical, and adapted to each student's individual learning needs.
I bring both clinical nursing experience and college teaching experience to every tutoring session, with the goal of helping students become knowledgeable, confident, and capable healthcare professionals.

I offer personalized online tutoring for Practical Nursing (LPN/RPN), Health Care Aide (HCA), Continuing Care Assistant (CCA), and Personal Support Worker (PSW) students across Canada.
My lessons are tailored to your specific college program, textbooks, course objectives, and learning style.
I can help you with anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, care planning, clinical reasoning, assignments, and exam preparation.
