About Laura
I have been an educator for 18 years in various content areas. My most recent is as an 8th grade and Math 1 teacher and that is my passion. I love to make difficult concepts easy and to take away the fear of math or the hatred for it. It can be fun, once you understand it.

I usually try to get information about what you are learning ahead of time so I can have some work in case we finish whatever the student has from their teacher. I like to use whatever materials the student has so that we are keeping up with what is going on in class and understanding the material to find success in math. I believe I have the gift of simplicity. If a math concept is difficult, I can make it easier to understand with my explanation. I want all of my students to love math, not fear it.
