About Theo
Hello everyone! I am a native Danish speaker currently studying linguistics at Cambridge. I speak French and German fluently and accent-free having spent much of my childhood in both countries, and have 2 years' experience tutoring both of these languages. I have a broad range of experience having taught GCSE-age schoolchildren up to adult learners of French, and I enjoy helping my learners to make rapid progress through a casual and conversational approach that highlights the grammatical, phonetic and sociolinguistic fundamentals of their new languages. Through Alumni Tutoring, the company that I established to promote affordable student-to-student tutoring, I gained further hands-on experience tutoring GCSE and A-level maths, and I have learnt to produce resources and instructive lessons that succinctly and comprehensibly walk students through areas of difficulty. Theo was a very informative and personable tutor who helped me to improve my French speaking and reading skills greatly.
Theo was an excellent tutor for Alumni Tutoring, able to teach a broad range of subjects including French, German, Danish and Mathematics. This berth of teaching ability greatly helped us as a growing agency. He furthered helped this growth by adding more tutees to our customer base, on one accession he began teaching a student Maths and was so valued by the family Theo also began to tutor her brother and even the student’s mother in French!
