About Marie
I have 25 years teaching experience, I studied Maths at Loughborough University and have taught in several London and Hertfordshire schools, currently in an Outstanding school. I have been tutoring students in the evenings in their homes for the past 10 years and all students have achieved higher than expected grades.
I have also been a head of year for 15 years and so I am fully aware of pastoral issues that affect young children today, I am also a qualified mental health first aider which has really helped me to listen to young people and ensure they stay healthy whilst trying to achieve academic success.

I enjoy seeing pupils learn and understand the concepts behind mathematics. I have always been excellent at questioning pupils to ensure they achieve their goals. I have many helpful tips to help you achieve those all important grades. Problem solving and depth of understanding is now the key to success.
