About Sam
Hi I'm Sam, I am a classically trained woodwind musician and singer currently studying flute at a UK Conservatoire.
As well as 1-1 tuition, I have experience working in primary and secondary school classrooms as a teaching assistant and workshop leader. These roles have given me valuable hands-on experience working alongside other skilled teachers, allowing me to observe and apply a range of different teaching approaches while deepening my passion for the profession.
I have been awarded multiple scholarships, I have toured Germany as Principal Flute of a Wind Orchestra, toured the UK twice singing with a Chamber Choir, and have performed at national festivals on both the concert and bass flute.
Outside of Classical music, I enjoy playing in musical theatre pit bands, and am a passionate folk musician, regularly attending local folk sessions and having performed folk concerts and Ceilidhs across the UK.

Since everyone learns differently, I help students achieve their goals by creating simple and flexible plans with them and adapting my approach to their individual needs.
