About Claudia
Hello! My name is Claudia, and I am a native Korean speaker currently based in London.
I graduated from Oxford Brookes University in the UK and have over five years of professional experience working in Korea. Before moving to London, I spent three years teaching English in Hong Kong and progressed to become a Head Teacher at an ESL school.
Having lived and worked in Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, and the UK, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and adapting to different cultures. My international background allows me to relate to students from diverse backgrounds and support them throughout their language-learning journey.

My teaching approach is centred around helping students build confidence and use Korean naturally in real-life situations. I believe language learning should be interactive, enjoyable, and tailored to each student's goals.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and is structured around the student's level and objectives. Lessons may include conversation practice, pronunciation coaching, grammar explanations, vocabulary building, reading exercises, and cultural insights.
For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation in Hangul, essential vocabulary, and everyday expressions. For intermediate and advanced learners, lessons can be tailored towards improving speaking fluency, listening skills, business communication, interview preparation, or understanding Korean culture more deeply.
I create personalised lesson plans and provide a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to help students progress at their own pace while developing practical Korean language skills they can confidently use in everyday life.
Lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to professionals looking to improve their Korean for work, travel, or personal interest.
