About Dayna
I am a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience across high-acuity and critical care settings. I earned my BSN from Kean University and my MSN from Rutgers University, where I developed a strong foundation in advanced clinical practice and medical education.
My clinical background includes extensive experience in cardiology, pulmonary medicine, and critical care, including time in open-heart ICU and other intensive care units. I have led and contributed to complex patient management in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, translating advanced medical knowledge into clear, practical decision-making.
Beyond bedside care, I have built programs from the ground up — including the creation of a fully functioning Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) clinic focused on evidence-based care and patient education. I also founded a Pulmonary Fibrosis support group, reflecting my commitment to patient advocacy, education, and community support.
As an educator and tutor, my strength lies in making complex medical concepts easy to understand and clinically relevant. I teach with clarity, efficiency, and purpose — helping students move beyond memorization to true understanding and confidence. My sessions are tailored to each learner’s level, goals, and learning style, with a focus on high-yield concepts and real-world application.
