About Joy
Hello! I am a dedicated language teacher with a bachelor's degree and TEFL/TESOL certification. I have been teaching since 2017 and have experience working with students from China, Japan, Korea, Italy, Poland, and France, from young beginner learners to advanced adults at C1 level, including Italian tax advisers and lawyers.
My specialties include conversational English, grammar, vocabulary development, pronunciation, phonics for young learners, speaking fluency, and exam preparation. I also teach Tagalog/Filipino to learners who want to communicate confidently in everyday situations.
My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and personalized to each student's needs and goals. I provide well-prepared lessons, constructive feedback, and practical activities in a friendly, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable learning and making mistakes.
Whether you are learning for work, travel, school, exams, or personal development, I am committed to helping you improve your communication skills and build confidence. Let's make your language-learning journey enjoyable, effective, and rewarding!
