About Nisa
After completing my overseas experience (OE), I fell in love with languages and teaching. That experience inspired me to return to university to study English and Linguistics, with the goal of eventually becoming a high school English and Languages teacher.
Until then, I love teaching English online to ESL learners. I am a native English speaker, however, I also speak conversational Malay and Italian. I'm also currently studying German at University which has been a fun challenge. I understand both the challenges and the rewards of learning a new language, which helps me create patient, encouraging lessons for my students.
Outside of teaching, I'm a very active person who loves running, swimming, hiking, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors. I enjoy connecting with people from different cultures and look forward to helping you achieve your English goals!

Hello! I'm an experienced ESL teacher based in Christchurch, New Zealand. I hold a Certificate in ESOL Home Tutoring and am currently studying English and Linguistics at the University of Canterbury. I have several years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to learners from many different cultural and language backgrounds around the world.
