About Joseph
About Me;
I am a student at the University of Strathclyde studying for a degree in Physics and Mathematics. Learning and education has always been something I am genuinely passionate about. I make sure my lessons are educational but also interesting, insightful and fun.
I hope that my passion for physics and maths will be passed on to anyone I teach which will make studying and sitting the exam of the subject a much more enjoyable and less stressful experience.
Teaching Experience;
I have tutored a number of students in maths and physics all with varying levels of understanding and different ways of learning. My lessons are tailored to suit them best and give the best delivery of the subject for them.
I also assist on an online maths and physics group and answer as many questions as I can for those needing help with homework, studying etc.
Approach to Tutoring;
I try whenever possible to show the fun and beauty of the subject whether it be maths or physics. If you are truly interested in a subject then you will be able to learn it faster and with much better detail and it is my job as a tutor to share as much passion and enjoyment for the subject in the lessons.
For both maths and physics it is important to practise by solving problems, however I always make sure the student knows why it is important to solve the problems and how it will be relevant to them.
I always ensure a lesson is prepared in advance as well as homework questions and sometimes customised tests as required. If there are any specifics that you as the tutee or parent/s of the tutee would like me to carry out in the lessons, I will try my best to accommodate your wishes.
