Experienced Philosophy tutor with a Master's degree in Edinburgh but from New Zealand

Methodology

I enjoy helping students understand complex ideas and develop their own thinking. I want to work with you on interesting problems and refine your responses to them. I don't edit technical aspects of writing.

Experience

I completed my Master's in philosophy (distinction) at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. My BA(Hons, 1st) is in philosophy, sociology and psychology. I spent one year of undergrad on exchange at the University of Leeds. I have recently moved to Edinburgh, ultimately to pursue my PhD. My work has generally focused on metaethics, value theory and philosophy of language. I have tutored several first year university courses and have significant experience helping students learn and evaluating their work.
