About Narikai
I am a native English speaker, editor, graphic designer, and personal assistant to an Art Director and I study Psychology part time. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching and helping others to realise their potential.
I have experience working with primary aged children (KS1 & KS2) in order to develop their skills in creative writing, comprehension and phonics (Early Years). I previously taught Key Stage 1 & 2 at Kumon - a school for children with learning difficulties and most recently have helped my students to pass their year 2 phonics and SATS as well as assisting non-native English speakers to write books on business psychology and leadership. I also have experience working with students from international backgrounds who wish to improve their general English skills (EFL/TOEFL/IELTS/Cambridge English). This involves confidence building and developing abilities in speaking, writing, reading and conversational skills.
I have weekday and weekend availability so please get in touch to find a time that could suit you or your child.

I prepare lessons and will use various materials and practise exams where necessary but overall my style of teaching is case by case, I appreciate that everyone learns differently and that if someone does not learn the way you teach, you must teach the way they learn.
