About Yolande
Although new to this site's website, I am an experienced tutor. I believe that building a personal rapport is essential to help a young person to see that they can enjoy and benefit from extra tuition - after all, if they have been at school all day, the prospect of more work can be daunting! I am educated to degree level and have had a successful 30-year career in management consultancy and project management. I am now an English tutor and hold a current DBS check (a requirement when working with children). As a mum I supported my three children through primary and secondary school and as an LTA-trained tennis assistant coach, I have worked with groups of children from the ages of 4 to 14 (at a tennis club and onsite at after-school clubs).
