Hello! My name is Sarah and I am an experienced primary and special educational needs teacher of eight years. I have taught in both the UK and US with students aged 6-10 and love watching students grow in confidence!

My primary goal is to involve children in fun, engaging, real-world learning!
What will my session mostly look like?
20-45 minute sessions
1:1 or small group
Introduce and explore new skill
Hands-on practice using visuals and manipulatives
Review and check understanding
What do I teach?
3-10 year olds
Maths - can support number and place value, fractions, measurement, geometry,
fluency and reasoning
Phonics - experience with multiple phonics programmes and the Science of Reading. Can
support decoding, fluency and spelling.
Reading - can support comprehension, reading for pleasure, punctuation and grammar
Experience with special educational needs - ADHD, ASC, dyslexia, dyscalculia. Can
support communication and language and personal, social and emotional
development.
