I am enthusiastic and compassionate about learning and the importance of GIRFEC (Getting it right for every child). I am knowledgeable about ‘curriculum for excellence’ and have extensive experience in working with children with a variety of support needs as well as children who need reinforcement to achieve their personal best.
I can assess whether a student has fully understood a topic and identify any gaps. I also have resources for deeper understanding and extension work.
Then move into more challenging tasks applications, and apply the skills to consolidate learning.
I am very experienced at teaching English/Literacy and Mathematics.
