About Britt
I am a private tutor who believes that learning should feel safe, meaningful, and accessible to every individual. I teach because I am passionate about supporting students who may not thrive in traditional settings, and I value building trusting relationships that allow learners to grow in confidence as well as skill. My approach is rooted in understanding each student as a whole person, recognising their strengths, interests, and challenges, and adapting teaching to meet them where they are. Teaching, for me, is about empowering learners to believe in themselves while working purposefully towards their goals, whether that is a qualification, a specific outcome, or renewed confidence in learning.

My online lessons are flexible and carefully adapted to each student’s individual needs, with the pace and structure shaped around how the learner engages best in a virtual setting. Sessions take place in a calm, supportive online environment where students are encouraged to talk, reflect, or take a short period of quiet time or a movement break away from the screen when needed. Learning is guided by the student’s interests to build motivation and confidence, while developing key skills. Each session remains purposeful and goal-focused, whether the aim is working towards a qualification, completing a specific task, or achieving personalised learning outcomes.
