Although I am trained in various styles of yoga, I teach according to my students needs and goals.
I will instruct you through a series of postures and exercises, and give you feedback on adaptions you need to make in terms of alignment and muscle activation. I am very interested in mobility and believe that a balance between flexibility and strength is key for healthy movement .
I encourage a sense of mindfulness throughout the practice, grounding the physical movement with breathing exercises and relaxation.
I have been practicing yoga since 2009 and teaching since 2015. Since then, I have taught over 2000 hours of yoga in studios, offices and in private classes, and completed two additional trainings.
I most love teaching 1-2-1 or within a small group setting, and the benefit my students receive compared to a group class is tangible in terms of their progress and understanding of the poses. I am very happy to work with beginners and more experienced practitioners alike.
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged.

Laura has experience of lots of different yoga styles and is always evolving her own teaching - this means I usually learn something new about my own movement or a different way of approaching yoga poses at her classes. She has an enthusiastic, encouraging and understanding teaching style and her lessons focus on strength as well as flexibility. Laura's classes are both fun and relaxed, you can push yourself to try difficult poses knowing Laura will be able to support you but I have never felt uncomfortable or under pressure to do anything I don't want to.
