About Olga
I am a native Russian speaker from Russia. I have lived in England for over 25 years. My educational and work background is in Journalism. I enjoy teaching and have been a tutor for over 10 years now. I have a Enhanced DBS.

Tailored lesson plan for the lesson depending on type.
For business lessons that may be in a group I will develop language that is focused on their context and teach the language in such a way that it will be useful in their context.
For adults 1:1 that either want to learn Russian for business purposes or those who want to learn the language because they have connections to the language (spouse, children, ancestry) I teach the language with the focus on cultural aspects so it is easier to comprehend and make quicker progress.
For university students I tailor my lessons to the university module/course. Students can show me the requirements and we will work through these and what is covered in lectures. in addition, I help my students in their exam preparation and coursework.
For GCSEs and A-Levels, I tailor my exams to the exam requirements. I teach in a wider context so students have a good foundation understanding and develop their critical thinking skills in the language to be prepared to tackle complex exam questions and topics within the exam that they are less familiar with. I am a GCSEs and A-Levels examiner in state and independent schools and help students to develop their confidence and fluency to successfully pass oral speaking exams. In addition, we develop grammar and reading skills for the other exam components.
