About Riza
I am a licensed Canadian primary teacher with classroom teaching experience abroad. I taught year 3 and year 6 grade level in all core subjects (Math, Science, English, Social Studies). This includes a majority of EAL students from my experience in teaching in Bangkok, Thailand for 2 years. I also have a few years experience of student teaching in Canada before I received my B.Ed and B.A. I did a month of a teaching assistant role in London before the school year ended this year. I have several experience of helping my students prepare for midterm and final examinations and created exam review booklets for them as well. My name is Riza and I am looking for students who may need help with homework, exam preparations, or additional help on a subject that you are struggling with.
We will have an initial meet-up to see what we need to work on and discuss your goals - this way I can create a lesson structure and provide a plan for us to follow for the next lesson(s). We will most likely start with the basics and work our way upward. I will also help you by doing lots of practice as practice is key. Depending on your needs, I will create lessons that involve different types of techniques and resources. Most importantly, I will try my best to keep our lessons full and exciting at the same time!

Details
Each session will last an estimated time of 1 hour. My fees are only £20/hour, with an additional cost of £5 if you live more than an hour away. For group sessions, I will charge an extra £10 for every additional person. If you would like to book a 'pack' of lessons, I am willing to offer a discounted price.
