About Andy
I have always had an interest in Mathematics starting during my school days. I had an excellent Mathematics teacher which was so important. I early retired from the Aviation Industry in 2014. I started tutoring my 2 children through to A-Level and this quickly spread to friends and other family members. I do think that using Mathematics extensively in my Professional Career does give me a different tutoring perspective when compared to other Tutors.
I do really enjoy Tutoring, it is very rewarding meeting so many families and seeing children gain confidence and progress.

I have tutored over 40 students since 2014 - mostly GCSE & A-Level but also Further Mathematics.
I have a very relaxed approach to tutoring and I fully prepare each session. I have both a B.Sc and a M.Sc in Mathematics. I had 7 students during the 2025/2026 academic year.
