About Nicolas
¡Hola! I’m Nicolas, a native Spanish speaker from Colombia and a Spanish teacher with several years of experience teaching both in the U.S. and internationally. I have a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and currently teach AP Spanish at the high school level.
I’ve worked with students from different ages, backgrounds, and proficiency levels, so I understand that everyone learns a language differently. I’m patient, approachable, and always try to create an environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and actually using your Spanish.
As someone who has also learned other languages and lived abroad, I know firsthand what it’s like to communicate in a language that isn’t your own. My goal is to make learning Spanish something you enjoy and look forward to, while helping you make real progress along the way.

Learning Spanish doesn’t have to mean sitting through endless grammar exercises! I like to make my lessons practical, engaging, and focused on what you actually want to achieve.
Whether you’re starting from scratch, need help with Spanish for school, want to feel more confident having conversations, or are looking to improve your fluency, I’ll adapt our lessons to your level, interests, and goals. We’ll work on speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammar, but always with a focus on actually using the language.
I’m a native Spanish speaker from Colombia and an experienced Spanish teacher, so I can teach you both the language and how Spanish is actually used in everyday life. I’ve worked with students from different backgrounds and levels, and I know everyone learns differently.
My lessons are for teens and adults, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. No matter where you’re starting, the goal is simple: help you feel more comfortable and confident using Spanish in the real world.
