About Billy
I have been speaking Spanish for 26 years and have translated in both professional and informal settings.
I first learned Spanish through my elementary school's bilingual program and continued through high school where I had the fortune of being able to learn from teachers from Mexico, Cuba, Peru, Spain, and Argentina.
I went on to minor in Spanish at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which included studying abroad at University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain.
I have lived in Spain and traveled extensively throughout the country as well as Mexico where I had the opportunity to use my Spanish daily for extended periods of time.
