Teaching Approach & Methodology
I believe that every student has a different learning style and pace. Therefore, I use a student-centred and interactive approach, adapting my teaching methods according to each student’s needs and level of understanding.
For Bahasa Melayu, I focus on grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, reading comprehension and writing skills. I explain concepts in a simple and clear way before providing exercises to reinforce the student’s understanding.
For Islamic Education, I combine explanations, question-and-answer sessions, discussions and real-life examples to help students understand the subject beyond memorising facts. My goal is to help students understand, apply and appreciate what they learn in their daily lives.
I also encourage students to ask questions and actively participate during lessons. Short exercises and revision activities will be included to assess their understanding and identify areas that need improvement.
Typical Lesson Duration
Each lesson typically lasts 1 hour, depending on the student’s needs and learning objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Islamic Studies) with Honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). I also have teaching experience as a contract teacher, which has given me practical experience in teaching and managing students with different learning abilities.
Who Are My Lessons For?
My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students who want to improve their skills in Bahasa Melayu and Islamic Education. I welcome students who need help with basic understanding, reinforcement, homework, or examination preparation.
I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes and improve at their own pace.
