About Thea
"367 students have passed through my studio doors during my 13 years of instruction. I possess an Artist Diploma in Piano Performance from the Australian National Academy of Music, though my primary instrument focus remains violin. My teaching methodology stems from years of coaching students ranging from hobbyists to advanced performers.
I meet each individual where they are. Complex bowing techniques become manageable through my direct approach. Structure is the only way to reach true mastery."

"The smell of rosin fills the room as you initiate your first scale of the day. I observe your posture and hold from the moment the bow touches the string. Hobbyists and self taught players often find that my 13 years of experience helps them replace bad habits with clean technique.
We spend significant time on spiccato and staccato bowing to ensure agility. Double stops and arpeggios serve as the backbone for our technical development. A monthly progress report shared with parents provides a clear view of your growth. Results come from repeating the correct motions until they feel natural."
