About Ayoade
My name I Ayoade Omotola fro Ekiti state, south-west Nigeria. I finished primary school in1957 and secondary modern school in 1960. I then attended a teachers college from 1965, earning a Teachers Certificate Grade Two in 1967. 1969-1973, I attended the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) Ile-Ife, Nigeria where I obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. 1983-84, I attended a Master of Education course in Educational Evaluation in the University of Ibadan, Ibadan Nigeria.
I'd since taught subjects including English language, Yoruba. Mathematics, Physics and even Music at different levels (Primary, Secondary and Post-Secondary) until I retired from public service in 2021. I later taught in other private schools and colleges.
For me, teaching is a passion and no pupils/students ever regret being taught by me.

Teaching and learning should be fun. The teacher should be friendly, making the lesson child/student-centred. He should communicate at the level of the learner and make himself understandable. He should be familiar with learner's previous knowledge so as to know the appropriate point to introduce his lesson. Content should be neither too difficult nor otherwise. Each lesson topic must have a specific objective. Local and simple objects should be used as illustrative examples. Lesson must be interactive, at the end of which both the teacher and learner would be satisfied.
